Eastman Minor Hockey would like to announce the U18AAA Female Selects tryout information for the upcoming season.
The program again will be running out of the facility in Niverville with practices held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) and complemented by an in-season strength and conditioning program.
About the U18 Program:
The program provides players in the region that aspire to play hockey at a competitive level with a challenging and rewarding experience. Players in the program will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their skill set in a high-performance environment while competing against the top teams and players in the province.
The team plays in the Manitoba Female Hockey League (MFHL) which is an 8-team league consisting of a 28-game regular season plus playoffs. In addition to league play, the team participates in other showcase events and in recent years has participated in the Central Plains Showcase (Portage, MB), NIT Tradition Tourney (Blaine, MN), 2 Nations (Toronto, ON), and Female World Sports School Challenge (Winnipeg, MB) which offer the team and its players the opportunity to be showcased to college and university coaches while seeing other high-profile competition from Canada and the United States.
